Looking for a beautiful morning escape? This might be one of Trivandrum’s most photogenic seasonal spots. 🌻📸
Until September 5, Naaden Agro Farms in Menamkulam is hosting Aaravam 2026 - Sunflower Fest, promoted by the organisers as the biggest sunflower festival in Trivandrum.
And the main attraction is refreshingly simple: a large field filled with blooming sunflowers where visitors can walk around, take photos and enjoy a little break from the city.
The festival is open from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM, but we would strongly recommend visiting either early in the morning or later in the afternoon. The light is better for photos, the temperature is more comfortable, and the experience should generally be more pleasant.
🌻 Aaravam 2026 takes place at Naaden Agro Farms, located within the Marian EdCity Campus in Menamkulam, in northern Trivandrum near the Kazhakkoottam area.

Best Time to Visit
For photography, we would choose around 7:00–9:00 AM. Kerala’s midday sun can be intense in an open field, while mornings offer softer light and a more comfortable walk.
Why Go
This is less of a traditional festival with a programme of performances and more of a seasonal outdoor experience and colourful photo spot. At just ₹50 for adults, it is an easy little outing if you are looking for something different around Trivandrum.
