Art Exhibition & Debate d'idees
The Architecture of Remembering exhibition is more than just an exhibit; it's a space for reflection on how memory shapes us, our cities, and our culture. The project brings together artistic practices from France and India, inviting viewers to consider memory as a living, fluid structure.
French artist Philippe Calia explores themes of fragmentation, traces, and lost forms, transforming memories into visual structures. His works resemble an emotional archaeology—fragile and multilayered.
Indian artist Supriyo Manna explores the materiality of memory using images of corporeality, lines, and connections. His works often balance vulnerability and resilience, creating a sense of "handcrafted memory."
The exhibition is accompanied by a "débat d'idées "—an open discussion where art becomes the pretext for conversation about time, identity, and cultural exchange. The project is curated by TAK Contemporary in collaboration with the Alliance Française de Trivandrum , bringing together art institutions and cultural communities in the city.
This evening is for those interested in contemporary art, the architecture of memory, and cultural dialogue—in an intimate, intellectual atmosphere. 🗓 January 24, 2026 ⏰ 6:00 PM
📍 Alliance Française de Trivandrum / TAK Contemporary, Trivandrum
