🎨 Southern Latitudes in Trivandrum: contemporary art from South India
Until 25 October, the College of Fine Arts Kerala is hosting the Southern Latitudes exhibition in Trivandrum, a group show focused on the artistic scenes of Madras and Trivandrum.
The full title of the exhibition is Southern Latitudes: Scenes from Madras & Trivandrum. It features 30 distinguished modern and contemporary artists from across South India.
The exhibition is curated by artist and educator Tensing Joseph.
It is also a good opportunity to visit College of Fine Arts Kerala itself, one of Trivandrum’s important art institutions, located in the central Palayam area.
For visitors who would like to discover another side of Kerala beyond beaches, temples and traditional performing arts, this exhibition offers a glimpse into South India’s contemporary art scene.
