CULTR SHIFT Kovalam: Two Days of Electronic Music by the Arabian Sea
Imagine electronic music, the Arabian Sea, tropical coastal scenery and an entire weekend dedicated to sound, art and community.
On 21–22 November 2026, CULTR SHIFT makes its debut at The Leela Raviz Kovalam, bringing a new electronic music festival experience to Kerala's famous beach destination.
Created by the team behind Kappa CULTR, the event is designed as something more intimate than a traditional large-scale festival.
🎧 A New Chapter for Kappa CULTR
Kappa CULTR has established itself as a prominent name in South India's electronic music scene.With CULTR SHIFT, the organisers are taking the concept in a new direction: smaller gatherings, distinctive destinations and a deeper connection between music, people and place.The inaugural edition brings the experience to Kovalam, combining electronic performances with art, games, curated food and the atmosphere of a coastal getaway.
The Artist Line-up CULTR SHIFT Kovalam
The first CULTR SHIFT features ten announced artists and music projects:
Biar, Sound Therapy, Racing Nokia, Anushka, Prismer, Groove Depot, Syeyl, Vridian, Tasnneem and Calm Chor.
Expect an eclectic electronic music programme accompanied by creative activities and specially curated culinary experiences.
Individual performance times and the day-by-day running order have not yet been confirmed in the published announcement.
🌴 Why Kovalam?
Kovalam is best known for its beaches, sunsets and relaxed resort lifestyle. An electronic music festival offers a completely different reason to visit.
The organisers have chosen The Leela Raviz Kovalam, a coastal luxury resort overlooking the Arabian Sea, as the setting for the inaugural edition.
The location is intended to become part of the experience itself, bringing together music, landscape and atmosphere.
Rather than a single night out, CULTR SHIFT invites visitors to spend a full weekend exploring electronic music and connecting with fellow festivalgoers.

Early Bird tickets are now available through the official Kappa ticketing website.
Visitors can select Saturday, Sunday or a two-day pass.
At the time of publication, the booking page displays a ₹4,000 per-person two-day offer, including ₹1,000 redeemable against food and beverages at the venue.
Additional food and beverage credit is also available for purchase.
